How it works
The aimpera VPP platform connects locally optimized sites into a virtual power plant. At each site, the aimpera EMS controls generators, storage systems, and flexible consumers predictively and in an operationally reliable manner. These local results are aggregated in the VPP and coordinated across sites. This creates consistent schedules and dispatch signals that simultaneously take individual prosumer sites and the overall portfolio into account.
Hierarchical optimization
The foundation of the optimization is highly accurate, AI-based generation and load forecasts at site and portfolio level. A hierarchical AI optimization links local and higher-level objectives and explicitly accounts for uncertainties. This enables early risk detection, reduces deviations, and supports robust decisions for distributed generators, storage systems, and loads within the virtual power plant.
